The instructors really know their stuff and do a great job of making the material accessible. Several people mentioned that teachers like Azra, Elhamy, Prabhjot, etc., are engaging, clear in their explanations, and really patient with questions.
This isn’t all lecture: there’s a strong practical component. You use manikins, go through realistic scenarios, which helps with confidence and retention of skills.

Frequently Asked Questions

There are two different levels of CPR courses: CPR/AED Level A and CPR/AED Level C. Both courses cover the same material. The difference is that CPR/AED Level A only covers how to perform life-saving skills on adults, whereas CPR/AED Level C is more comprehensive and covers CPR/AED for adults, children and infants. Upon completion of either CPR course, you will receive a CPR and AED certification valid for three years. CPR/AED Level A is only available for private training, though.

This depends on your job and/or school requirements. All of our First Aid classes in Ottawa include CPR/AED Level C training. We highly recommend taking Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C as this is the highest level of first aid training and the most widely accepted course by employers.

  • We offer CPR classes in Ottawa in an online, blended format and an online-only format. To earn an official WSIB-approved Canadian Red Cross certificate, you must enroll in the online blended format (half online, half in class).
  • We offer online-only courses, but they do not provide an official certificate. If you want an official CPR certification in Ottawa, you must upgrade your training and complete an in-class component to practice your hands-on skills. You can upgrade the online-only course to the online blended course within three months of completing the online-only training.

We do offer private training for groups of 8+. Our private classes have many benefits, like significant savings on your payments and simple billing. We offer group training for Healthcare Providers, Industry Trades, Schools, Security Guards, Government, Social & Support Services Workers, and so much more!
